The VanEck Junior Gold Miners UCITS seeks to track the MVIS Global Junior Gold Miners index. The MVIS Global Junior Gold Miners index tracks the most liquid junior companies in the global gold and silver mining industry, that generate at least 50% of their revenues from this sector.
 
The ETF's TER (total expense ratio) amounts to 0.55% p.a.. The VanEck Junior Gold Miners UCITS is the only ETF that tracks the MVIS Global Junior Gold Miners index. For example, if there was the following sequence of daily ETF prices: 10€, 5€, 12€, 20€, an investor would have suffered the worst loss by buying for 10€ and subsequently selling for 5€. Therefore in this case the maximum drawdown would be (5€ - 10€)/10€ = -50%.
