Description
The Lyxor US Curve Flattening 2-10 UCITS ETF - Acc seeks to track the Solactive USD Daily (x7) Flattener 2-10 index. The Solactive USD Daily (x7) Flattener 2-10 index tracks a systematic strategy whose return is directly linked to changes in the US yield curve. The strategy aims to ensure that a decrease in the steepness of the curve by 1 basis point leads to a rise of the index by 7 basis points. The index consists of two basic components: a short position in the 2-year US Treasury bond futures and a long position in the 10-year US Treasury ultra bond futures.

This shows the worst possible loss an investor could have suffered during the respective period, by first buying and subsequently selling the asset at the least favourable prices. For example, if there was the following sequence of daily ETF prices: 10€, 5€, 12€, 20€, an investor would have suffered the worst loss by buying for 10€ and subsequently selling for 5€. Therefore in this case the maximum drawdown would be (5€ - 10€)/10€ = -50%.
