Its products include refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, microwaves, wine cellars, beer dispensers, beverages centers, light-emitting diode television, high definition and digital video disc combo, laundry washers and dryers, room air conditioners, portable air conditioners, dehumidifiers, through-the-wall air, heat or cool air conditioners, ductless split air conditioners, package terminal air conditioners and other household appliances. It operates through the following segments: China Smart Home Business; Overseas Home Appliance and Smart Home Business, and Other Business. The China Smart Home Business segment consists of internet of food, clothing, air energy, and whole house water solutions. The Overseas Home Appliance segment includes GE Appliances, Fisher and Paykel Appliances, and Candy. The Other Business segment offers channel, equipment component, and small home appliance business. The company was founded on December 26, 1984 and is headquartered in Qingdao, China.
