Beschrijving

Tenaris SA houdt zich bezig met de productie en levering van stalen buisproducten. Haar producten omvatten stalen omhullingen, stalen buizen, pijpleidingen, mechanische en structurele pijpen, koudgetrokken pijpen, hoogwaardige verbindingen en koppelingen, opgerolde buizen en zuigerstangen. Het bedrijf is actief via de segmenten Buizen en Overige. Het segment Buizen bestaat uit de productie en verkoop van zowel naadloze als gelaste stalen buisproducten en aanverwante diensten, voornamelijk voor de olie- en gasindustrie, met name buisproducten voor olieland die worden gebruikt bij booroperaties, en voor andere industriële toepassingen met productieprocessen die bestaan uit de transformatie van staal tot buisproducten. Het segment Overig houdt zich bezig met alle andere bedrijfsactiviteiten en bedrijfssegmenten, waaronder de productie en verkoop van zuigerstangen, industriële apparatuur, opgerolde buizen, warmtewisselaars en nutsleidingen voor gebouwen en de verkoop van energie en grondstoffen die de interne behoeften overtreffen. Het bedrijf is opgericht in 1909 en het hoofdkantoor is gevestigd in Luxemburg.
