Hecla Mining Co. est une société de production d'argent et d'or. Elle produit du plomb, du zinc et des concentrés en vrac pour les fonderies à façon et les courtiers et développe des précipités non raffinés et des lingots pour les négociants en métaux précieux. Elle opère par le biais des secteurs d'activité suivants : Greens Creek, Lucky Friday, Casa Berardi et Nevada Operations. Le secteur Greens Creek est situé sur l'île Admiralty, près de Juneau, dans le sud-est de l'Alaska. Le secteur Lucky Friday est situé dans le nord de l'Idaho. Le gisement de Casa Berardi est situé dans la région de l'Abitibi, dans le nord-ouest du Québec, au Canada, et est exploité par Aurizon. Le segment San Sebastian est situé dans l'État de Durango, au Mexique, et contient des mines souterraines. La société a été fondée par Amasa B. Campbell, Patsy Clark et John Finch le 14 octobre 1891 et son siège social se trouve à Coeur d'Alene, ID.

- Volatility, annualised, measured for 1, 3 and 5 year periods. The annualised volatility reflects the degree of price fluctuations during a one year period. We calculate this parameter for 1, 3 and 5 year periods to display its evolution over time.
- Maximum drawdown for a period. This shows the worst possible loss an investor could have suffered during the respective period, by first buying and subsequently selling the asset at the least favourable prices. For example, if there was the following sequence of daily ETF prices: 10€, 5€, 12€, 20€, an investor would have suffered the worst loss by buying for 10€ and subsequently selling for 5€. Therefore in this case the maximum drawdown would be (5€ - 10€)/10€ = -50%.
