The AMEC segment focuses on automotive products such as motors and actuators. The MOEN segment provides home appliances as well as commercial and industrial products. The ACIM segment offers home appliances and industrial products. The Machinery Business segment comprises equipment and machine tools. The Group Company Business segment covers automotive products, home appliances, commercial and industrial products, machinery and equipment, electronic components, and other small motors. The company was founded by Shigenobu Nagamori and Hiroshi Kobe on July 23, 1973 and is headquartered in Kyoto, Japan.
