It operates through the following segments: Textron Aviation, Bell, Textron Systems, Industrial, Textron eAviation, and Finance. The Textron Aviation segment manufactures, sells, and services Beechcraft and Cessna aircraft. The Bell segment supplies military and commercial helicopters, tiltrotor aircraft, and related spare parts. The Textron Systems segment develops, manufactures, and integrates a variety of products and services for United States and international military. The Industrial segment designs and manufactures a variety of products within the Kautex and specialized vehicles product lines. The Textron eAviation segment covers pipistrel along with other research and development initiatives related to sustainable aviation solutions. The company was founded by Royal Little in 1923 and is headquartered in Providence, RI.

We calculate this parameter for 1, 3 and 5 year periods to display its evolution over time.
  • Maximum drawdown for a period. This shows the worst possible loss an investor could have suffered during the respective period, by first buying and subsequently selling the asset at the least favourable prices. For example, if there was the following sequence of daily ETF prices: 10€, 5€, 12€, 20€, an investor would have suffered the worst loss by buying for 10€ and subsequently selling for 5€. Therefore in this case the maximum drawdown would be (5€ - 10€)/10€ = -50%.
