Het segment Multimedia Recycling verwerkt koperschroot, organische en anorganische recyclagegrondstoffen die metalen en industriële residuen bevatten. Het segment Aangepaste smelten en producten verwijst naar de productie van edele metalen. Het bedrijf werd opgericht in 1866 en heeft zijn hoofdkantoor in Hamburg, Duitsland.
