ERG SpA se consacre à la production et à la distribution d'électricité à partir de sources renouvelables. Elle opère à travers les segments suivants : Eolien, Solaire, Thermoélectrique. Le secteur éolien exploite des parcs éoliens en Italie, en France, en Allemagne, en Pologne, en Roumanie et en Bulgarie. Le secteur solaire se concentre sur les centrales photovoltaïques situées dans huit régions du nord et du sud de l'Italie. Le segment thermoélectrique fournit une technologie à cycle combiné alimentée au gaz naturel pour la production de vapeur et d'autres utilités. La société a été fondée par Edoardo Guida Garrone le 2 juin 1938 et son siège social se trouve à Gênes, en Italie.
