Deutsche Börse AG levert software voor portefeuillebeheer, analytische oplossingen, ESG-activiteiten en indexontwikkeling, en diensten voor liquiditeits- en onderpandbeheer. Het is actief via de volgende segmenten: Investment Management Solutions, Trading and Clearing, Fund Services en Securities Services. Het segment Investment Management Solutions biedt een breed scala aan intelligente, datagestuurde producten, indexfamilies, software en SaaS-oplossingen (Software-as-a-Service). Het segment Trading and Clearing omvat financiële derivaten, grondstoffen, contante aandelen en vreemde valuta. Het segment Fondsservices levert diensten om de verwerking van fondsen te standaardiseren en de efficiëntie en veiligheid in de beleggingsfondsensector te vergroten. Het segment Effectendiensten heeft betrekking op de infrastructuurdiensten en post-tradingdiensten, de afwikkeling van effectentransacties en de bewaarneming en administratie van effecten. Het bedrijf is opgericht in augustus 1990 en heeft zijn hoofdkantoor in Frankfurt, Duitsland.

- Maximum drawdown for a period. This shows the worst possible loss an investor could have suffered during the respective period, by first buying and subsequently selling the asset at the least favourable prices. For example, if there was the following sequence of daily ETF prices: 10€, 5€, 12€, 20€, an investor would have suffered the worst loss by buying for 10€ and subsequently selling for 5€. Therefore in this case the maximum drawdown would be (5€ - 10€)/10€ = -50%.
