Nemetschek SE houdt zich bezig met het leveren van softwareoplossingen voor het spectrum van bouw- en infrastructuurprojecten. Het bedrijf is actief via de volgende segmenten: Design, Build en Manage. Het Design segment omvat de architectuur en engineering divisie en wordt voornamelijk gekenmerkt door de ontwikkeling en marketing van computer-aided design, statische engineering en aanbestedingssoftware. Het Build segment omvat de creatie en marketing van commerciële software voor bouwbedrijven. Het Manage segment houdt zich bezig met facilitair en vastgoedbeheer, wat de uitgebreide administratie van vastgoedontwikkelingsprojecten inhoudt. Het bedrijf werd in 1963 opgericht door Georg Nemetschek en het hoofdkantoor is gevestigd in München, Duitsland.
