Samsung Securities Co., Ltd. engages in the provision of financial services in the securities and investment banking sectors. It operates through the following business divisions: Consignment Sales, Corporate Finance, Self-trading, Sales and Trading, Futures Brokerage, and Overseas Sales. The Consignment Sales business division is involved in unit that reports the performance generated from stock brokerage services provided by securities companies. The Corporate Finance business division focuses on performance generated while providing comprehensive financial services related to corporate finance, such as IPO, M&A, and PF. The Self-trading business division measures and reports the performance obtained by operating products such as stocks, bonds, and derivatives. The Sales and Trading business division generated from linked management of customer funds and consignment trading services for domestic and international institutions. The Futures Brokerage business division reports performance from business activities that entrust the trading of financial products in the gift business. The Overseas Sales business division refers to overseas divisions, such as brokering domestic products to overseas investors. The company was founded on October 19, 1982 and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
