Addtech AB engages in the development and selling of components and equipment to the mechanical, automotive, telecommunications, and electronics industries. It operates through the following segments: Automation, Electrification, Energy, Industrial Solutions, and Process Technology. The Automation segment produces and sells subsystems and components for industrial automation and infrastructure. The Electrification segment covers the battery solutions, energy-efficient power supply and power transmission solutions, as well as components and subsystems for electric driveline solutions. The Energy segment consists of products for electricity transmission, electrical installation and safety products, primarily in transport. The Industrial Solutions segment comprises of the production and sale solutions and systems primarily for the forest, special vehicles, and waste and recycling. The Process Technology segment refers to the measuring, controlling, and streamlining industrial flows. The company was founded by Arvid Bergman and Fritz Beving in 1906 and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
