Description

The Xtrackers MSCI Japan ESG Screened UCITS ETF 4C USD Hedged seeks to track the MSCI Japan Select ESG Screened (USD Hedged) index. The MSCI Japan Select ESG Screened (USD Hedged) index tracks large and mid-cap securities of the Japanese equity markets. The stocks included are filtered according to ESG criteria (environmental, social and corporate governance). Excluded sectors and companies: weapons, tobacco, thermal coal, oil sands, non-compliance with UN Global Compact. Currency hedged to US-Dollar (USD).
 
The ETF's TER (total expense ratio) amounts to 0.25% p.a.. The Xtrackers MSCI Japan ESG Screened UCITS ETF 4C USD Hedged is the only ETF that tracks the MSCI Japan Select ESG Screened (USD Hedged) index. The ETF replicates the performance of the underlying index by full replication (buying all the index constituents). The dividends in the ETF are accumulated and reinvested in the ETF.

For example, if there was the following sequence of daily ETF prices: 10€, 5€, 12€, 20€, an investor would have suffered the worst loss by buying for 10€ and subsequently selling for 5€. Therefore in this case the maximum drawdown would be (5€ - 10€)/10€ = -50%.
