Deutsche Post AG en haar dochterondernemingen, gezamenlijk bekend als DHL Group, houdt zich bezig met de levering van post- en logistieke diensten. Het is actief via de volgende segmenten: Express, Global Forwarding Freight, Supply Chain, eCommerce en Post and Parcel Germany. Het Express segment biedt tijdgebonden internationale koerier- en expressdiensten aan zakelijke en particuliere klanten. Het segment Global Forwarding Freight bestaat uit internationale lucht-, zee- en landvrachtexpeditie. Het Supply Chain segment is betrokken bij de levering van op maat gemaakte supply chain oplossingen aan haar klanten op basis van wereldwijd gestandaardiseerde modulaire componenten, waaronder opslag, transport en diensten met toegevoegde waarde. Het eCommerce segment richt zich op de binnenlandse pakketbezorging in verschillende landen met aantrekkelijke groeivooruitzichten. Het segment Post en Pakket Duitsland vervoert, sorteert en levert documenten en goederen in en buiten Duitsland. Het bedrijf is opgericht in 1924 en heeft zijn hoofdkantoor in Bonn, Duitsland.
