Beschrijving

Saab AB houdt zich bezig met de productie en verkoop van producten, diensten en oplossingen voor militaire defensie, commerciële luchtvaart en civiele veiligheid. Het bedrijf is actief in de volgende segmenten: Aeronautics, Dynamics, Surveillance, Kockums, Combitech en Corporate. Het Aeronatics segment omvat geavanceerde ontwikkeling van militaire en civiele luchtvaarttechnologie. Het Dynamics segment biedt producten aan bestaande uit grondgevechtswapens, raketsystemen, torpedo's, onbemande onderwatervoertuigen en signatuurbeheersystemen. Het segment Bewaking biedt efficiënte oplossingen voor veiligheid en beveiliging, voor bewaking en beslissingsondersteuning, en voor het opsporen en beschermen van bedreigingen. Het Kockums segment ontwikkelt, levert en onderhoudt oplossingen voor marine-omgevingen. Het Combitech-segment omvat de luchtvaart, defensie, telecom en andere industrieën, evenals de publieke sector. Het bedrijf is opgericht op 2 april 1937 en het hoofdkantoor is gevestigd in Stockholm, Zweden.
