Deutsche Lufthansa AG levert passagiers-, vracht- en vrachtluchtvaartdiensten. Het bedrijf is actief via de volgende segmenten: Network Airlines, Eurowings, Logistics, Maintenance Repair Overhaul, Catering en Additionele activiteiten en Group Functions. Het segment Network Airlines bestaat uit Lufthansa German Airlines, SWISS en Austrian Airlines. Het segment Eurowings richt zich op de groeiende markt voor Europese directe verkoop. Het segment Logistiek bestaat uit de geregelde luchtvrachtactiviteiten van de groep Lufthansa Cargo. Het segment Maintenance Repair Overhaul is betrokken bij het leveren van onderhouds-, reparatie- en revisiediensten voor civiele commerciële vliegtuigen. Het segment Catering houdt zich bezig met het leveren van catering aan luchtvaartmaatschappijen. Het bedrijf is opgericht op 6 januari 1926 en heeft zijn hoofdkantoor in Keulen, Duitsland.
