The Lasers segment serves industrial customers in semiconductor capital equipment, display capital equipment, precision manufacturing, and aerospace and defense, as well as instrumentation customers in life sciences and scientific research. The company was founded by Carl J. Johnson in 1971 and is headquartered in Saxonburg, PA.
