Top DAX ETFs

The DAX® index

The DAX® index is the major stock market index for Germany and contains the 40 largest German blue chip companies. The DAX index weights its constituents by free float market capitalisation. The weight of single stocks in the DAX is limited to 15 per cent. In February 2025, the index operator Stoxx Ltd. announced the launch of two further index variants. While the upper limit for the weight of individual stocks in the DAX 20% Capped is 20 per cent, the DAX Uncapped variant has no such limit.
