Le segment de la location de voitures concerne la location de voitures dans des lieux situés à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur des aéroports, ainsi que la stipulation d'assurance et la gestion des sinistres automobiles pour les compagnies d'assurance. Le segment de la location de flottes comprend la gestion de la location de flottes à des personnes morales, par l'intermédiaire des filiales Localiza Fleet et Car Rental Systems. Le secteur du franchisage comprend la gestion et l'octroi de franchises sur des marchés géographiquement définis, y compris le transfert du savoir-faire nécessaire à l'exploitation de l'entreprise et la concession du droit d'utiliser la marque Localiza. La société a été fondée par Antônio Cláudio Brandão Resende, Flávio Brandão Resende, José Salim Mattar Jr. et Eugênio Pacelli Mattar le 17 mai 1973 et son siège social se trouve à Belo Horizonte, au Brésil.
