Wie investiere ich in Edelmetalle?
Mit ETFs hast du nicht nur die Möglichkeit, in Aktien oder Anleihen zu investieren. Auch an der Wertentwicklung von Rohstoffen wie z.B. Edelmetallen kannst du auf diese Weise teilhaben. Dabei gibt es aber ein paar Dinge zu beachten: Ein Rohstoff-ETF bildet immer einen ganzen Korb an verschiedenen Rohstoffen ab. Dazu gehören in der Regel Rohstoffe aus den folgenden Segmenten:- Energie: Öl und Gas
- Edelmetalle: Gold, Silber und Platin
- Industriemetalle: z.B. Zink und Kupfer
- Landwirtschaft: u.a. Weizen und Kaffee
- Lebendvieh: Rinder und Schweine
Warum es in den meisten europäischen Ländern keine Edelmetall-ETFs gibt
Es gibt keine Edelmetall-ETFs, die in der Europäischen Union aufgelegt wurden. Das liegt an den rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen, welche durch die UCITS-Richtlinien (dt. „OGAW-Richtlinien”) definiert sind. Diese besagen, dass ein Index (und damit auch entsprechende ETFs) stets ein Mindestmaß an Diversifikation aufweisen muss und nicht nur aus ein paar Bestandteilen bestehen darf. Somit ist es aus rechtlichen Gründen in der EU nicht möglich, einen Edelmetalle-ETF aufzulegen.Wenn du nur in Edelmetalle investieren willst, funktioniert das über Exchange Traded Commodities (ETC). Besicherung von Edelmetall-ETCs
Einige Edelmetall-ETCs bilden den Kassapreis ab und sind physisch besichert. Ist das der Fall, sind bei dem entsprechenden ETC als Sicherheit physische Bestände des Edelmetalls im Tresor eines Treuhänders hinterlegt. Andere Edelmetall-ETCs bilden die Wertentwicklung von Edelmetalle anhand von Terminkontrakten (engl. „Futures”) ab. Solche ETCs sind ebenfalls mit Sicherheiten hinterlegt, welche in der Regel täglich überprüft werden. Allerdings sind hier die Sicherheiten nicht in Form von Edelmetallbeständen, sondern in Form von Kreditsicherheiten. Mit einem ETF-Sparplan hast du die Möglichkeit, regelmäßig Geld in einen Edelmetall-ETF bzw. -ETC zu investieren. Sparpläne auf Edelmetalle kannst du bei Online Brokern anlegen. Diese bieten dir Top-Konditionen für das regelmäßige Sparen in börsengehandelte Indexfonds. Doch nicht jeder Edelmetall-ETF bzw. -ETC ist bei jedem Online Broker als Sparplan verfügbar. Wir zeigen dir, wo du welchen Edelmetall-ETF bzw. -ETC besparen kannst. Ob ein Edelmetall-ETF bzw. -ETC Sparplan verfügbar ist, bestimmt die jeweilige Bank und nicht der Produkt-Anbieter.
