Beschrijving

Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA houdt zich bezig met de levering van producten uit bossen. Het is actief in de volgende segmenten: Bos, Hout, Pulp, Containerboard, Hernieuwbare energie en Overige. Het Bossegment bestaat uit de bosbouwactiviteiten. Het segment Hout omvat de activiteiten op het gebied van massief hout met vijf zagerijen in het noorden van Zweden en de verwerking en distributie van hout aan de bouwmaterialenhandel in Zweden en Frankrijk. Het segment Pulp omvat de productie en verkoop van gebleekte zachthouten kraftpulp en chemisch-thermomechanische pulp, die geproduceerd worden in de Östrand pulpfabriek en Ortviken site. Het segment Karton produceert en verkoopt verpakkingspapier, met productie in de geïntegreerde papierfabrieken in Obbola en Munksund. Het segment Hernieuwbare energie richt zich op de productie en verkoop van geraffineerde en ongeraffineerde biobrandstoffen en vloeibare biobrandstoffen. Het bedrijf is opgericht in 1929 en het hoofdkantoor is gevestigd in Sundsvall, Zweden.
