Sandvik AB se consacre au développement, à la fabrication et à la vente d'outils, d'équipements et de systèmes d'outillage pour les secteurs de l'exploitation minière et de la construction. Elle opère à travers les segments suivants : Sandvik Manufacturing and Machining Solutions, Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology, Sandvik Materials Technology et Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions. Le segment Sandvik Manufacturing and Machining Solutions fabrique et vend des outils et des systèmes d'outillage pour la coupe industrielle des métaux. Le segment Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology fournit des équipements et des outils pour l'exploitation minière et la construction, ainsi que des services et des solutions numériques connexes. Le segment Sandvik Materials Technology produit des aciers inoxydables et des alliages spéciaux tels que des tubes, des tuyaux, des fils, des bandes et des poudres métalliques. Le segment Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions concerne la fourniture d'équipements, de services et de solutions techniques pour le traitement des roches et des minéraux dans les secteurs de l'exploitation minière et des infrastructures.
