Unilever Plc fabrique et vend des biens de consommation. Elle opère à travers les segments suivants : Beauté et bien-être, Soins personnels, Soins à domicile, Nutrition et Glaces. Le secteur de la beauté et du bien-être propose des soins capillaires, des soins de la peau, des produits de beauté de prestige et des produits de santé et de bien-être. Le segment des soins personnels comprend les ventes de produits de nettoyage de la peau, de déodorants et de produits d'hygiène bucco-dentaire. Le segment des soins à domicile comprend les ventes de produits d'entretien du linge et d'une large gamme de produits de nettoyage. Le segment de la nutrition concerne les ventes d'aides culinaires, de vinaigrettes et de produits à base de thé. Le segment des crèmes glacées couvre principalement les produits à base de crème glacée. La société a été fondée par Antonius Johannes Jurgens, Samuel van den Bergh et William Hulme Lever en 1930 et son siège social se trouve à Londres, au Royaume-Uni.
